2. SHINING STAR: Hello there, little friends.
May I know why you are here?
NEW TWINKLERS: We are looking for the Magic Star.
We want to know if we can become
Twinklers.
SHINING STAR: Well then, come along!
I shall take you to Guiding Star.
She will show you the Magic Star.

3. SHINING STAR : Guiding Star, these little girls are
looking for the Magic Star.
They wish to become Twinklers and they want to know if
they can become one.
GUIDING STAR: Welcome, my little friends. This is the
land of the Twinklers.
But first, you must tell me why you want to become
Twinklers.
MIA: I WANT TO BE CHEERFUL.
JOY: I WANT TO BE KIND.
KRIZALYN: I WANT TO BE HELPFUL.
FAITH: I WANT TO MAKE OTHER PEOPLE HAPPY.

4. GUIDING STAR : Come and see the Magic Star.
“STAND BEFORE THE MAGIC STAR, IT WILL TELL YOU WHO YOU
ARE.IF YOU LOOK YOUR FACE YOU SEE, TRULY, A TWINKLER YOU
WILL BE!”
TWINKLER: I’M A TWINKLER!
SHINING STAR : The Magic Star says you can all be Twinklers.
Twinkler are little Girl Scouts who are always happy because they
do good deeds and make others happy.
Now, Guiding Star will hear you make you Twinkler Promise.

5. Twinkler : “I love God, my country and the
people around me”.

10. Morning star: “North Star, we have found little twinklers in
the starry circle who wants to join our Star”
North Star: “Let them come forward”
Morning star: “STARS”!!!!!!!
North Star : “Tell me why you want to become Stars?”
Stars to be invested:
We want to bright light.
We want to be truthful.
We want to be helpful.
We want to be obedient.
We want to be cheerful.

11. North Star : “Stars are little children who brighten their
come with smiles and good deeds. Each Star has to
make her mother, father or brother or sister happy
everyday. She has to make herself brightly shinning by
being KIND, HELPFUL and OBEDIENT. Do you promise
to become such a Star in your home?
Stars : “YES WE DO”.
North Star : “Very well, Star Scouts you have come to
the right place. But before you join the cluster, you
have to make a promise. Will you say your promise?”

The Stars join hands and make the Star Grand Salute.

I’m sure you couldn’t guess it
If you guessed a long long while
So I’ll take it out and put it on

the 3 parts of the World Trefoil stand for the 3 parts of the
GSP Promise”.
“The flame of this big candle represents the spirit of
Scouting which we hope will guide you all throughout
your life”.
CO LEADER
“ON MY HONOR, I WILL DO MY DUTY TO GOD. . .
May the light of this candle shine as a symbol that
Girl Scouts will do their duty to serve God and are
steadfast in their religious practices.

16. CO LEADER: MY COUNTRY AND TO HELP OTHER PEOPLE
May the light of this candle shine as a symbol that Girl
Scouts prepare themselves to serve and are ready to serve those
near and far away.
CO LEADER: “AND TO LIVE BY THE GIRL SCOUT LAW”
May the light of this candle shine as a symbol that Girl
Scouts are true to their values and ideals as embodied in the Girl
Scout Law”.

participate in the exercise of my privileges and I adhere to
my duties as a citizen. I have abiding faith in our chosen
leaders.

NO. 3 I carry my responsibilities. I look for opportunities
to help other people in many little ways.

the things being done to alleviate people’s situations.

NO. 6 I love and care all living things. I join in the tree
planting.
I have a home garden. I do care for pets and other
living things around me.
GIRL SCOUT A GIRL SCOUT IS DISCIPLINED.
NO. 7 I obey my elders and the rules and regulations of my
family, church, school and community. I control
myself, my thoughts, my words and actions. I do
what is right and good.

20. GIRL SCOUT A GIRL SCOUT IS SELF-RELIANT.
NO. 8 I use materials, energy, time and money
wisely so that I will have more when I need them and
there will be some to spare for others. I constantly
discover my abilities and I develop them in gainful
pursuits with my troop.
GIRL SCOUT A GIRL SCOUT IS THRIFTY.
NO. 9 I’ll practice the virtue to save, to make do what
we already have. One thing we all have is time. Girl
Scouts could learn that wasting others time is more un-
Scout like than wasting their own.

21. GIRL SCOUT A GIRL SCOUT IS CLEAN IN THOUGHT,
NO.10 WORD AND DEED .
I respect myself by directing my thoughts,
toward noble things so that I will not bring shame upon
myself or upon others.
LEADER : Each candle flame sheds the brilliance of a Scout
Law. May their glow so light your way that at no turn of
the path will you stumble.

22. PRESIDING LEADER: We are all gathered today to welcome
girls to the sisterhood of Girl Scouting and Girl Guiding. As we
have prepared ourselves to receive you, so you must prepare
yourself to become one of us. Remember that to make the
Girl Scout Promise links you with many others and thereafter
you walk not alone. As you conduct yourselves so will other
girl scouts be judged by you. Your honor means that you can
be trusted in all things. Knowing this, do you promise on your
honor to do your duty to God and your country, to help other
people at all times, and to live by the Girl Scout Law?
