The Broadband Access Project (BAP) is a partnership between the University of Minnesota's Urban Research and Outreach/Engagement Center and community organizations. Funded by a $3.6 million grant from the US Department of Commerce, BAP aims to eliminate the digital divide by expanding broadband access to underserved communities and creating new public computer centers and jobs through technology.
