4. 2000 – MyLib ( 72 libraries in the consortium) - shared access to subscribed online databases & free local
digital content
2012 - PNM’s E-Resources Portal (PNM Digital) have been developed.
- Access to various commercial online databases is opened to the rakyat.
2015/2016 – Selected under the Ministry of Tourism, Arts & Culture’s Civil Service
Transformation Programme.
Feb 2017 – Providing centralized access to online databases & e-reources (local
& foreign) via u-Pustaka portal.
2018 - 2019 – 2nd Rolling Plan RMKe-11 :
u-Pustaka As a National Information Hub
- Developing a new National Union Catalogue (including the development of a
single gateway & federated search)
- The expansion of u-Pustaka (4 new State Library as part of the Consortium)
- Development of a National Digital Repository System & intensifying the
digitization activity.
1996/1997 – PNM starts its digitization program & building its own digital content (eg: CD-ROM production, etc)

Scope
• Supply, deploy, testing and commissioning of hardware at PNM Data Center in KL.
• Development, testing and commissioning of new National Union Catalogue (KIK) System.
• Development, testing and commissioning of new Digital Content Repository System (MyRepositori).
• Data Migration for existing KIK to new KIK.
• To expand the u-Pustaka consortium libraries with the implementation of RFID tracking system into 4
state public libraries - Kedah, Perlis, Terengganu and Melaka.
• Digitisation of 1.78 million pages of content.
• To import existing 2000 DVD content into NAS Storage.
• To provide 12 months application warranty support after FAT.
