Information And Tips For Allergies
Pollen Allergy Explained
 The pollen grains of plants used for reproduction, usually round
or oval are microscopically small and they cannot be seen by the
naked eye. Some Plant species fertilize their own self, use the
pollen from its own flowers. Some plant species must be cross-
    pollinated.

 In order for cross-pollination to take place, the pollen must be
transported from one flower to another of the same species so
that fertilization will take place and seeds will form. Certain
flowering plants rely on insects while others, on wind transport.
Allergic reactions are commonly caused by plain-looking plants
that do not have showy flowers such as trees, grasses and weeds.
Pollens produced by these plants have to be dry, lightweight and
    small suitable for wind transport.
Vaccine Allergy Overview
 Anaphylaxis can be caused by an aversion to vaccine, making it an
uncommon type of allergy. The progression of an allergic reaction to
vaccines takes place very rarely. The risks of non vaccination should
be thought about before deciding on a course of action. Mumps and
measles can be prevented with proper protection from the parents.
However, kids may still be required by their schools to have some
    shots of vaccines.

 Did you know that vaccines contain allergens that may possibly trigger
symptoms of hypersensitivity? Two primary ingredients are perceived
to be the most likely allergens. One is the egg protein which includes
into yellow fever vaccine and flu vaccine. Another is the gelatin in
rubella, measles, mumps, Japanese encephalitis and varicella vaccines.
Due to the fact that thimerosal causes allergic reactions to numerous
patients, it has been excluded in the list of licensed vaccine in the US.
Soap and Detergent Allergy
 Does cleaning products make you itch? Well, many people think
this way. According to Dr. Wedner, "The chemical agents do not
trigger skin reactions such as itchiness. The real cause is the
additives in perfumes." Most soap nowadays contains plant
    extracts to make it fancier.

 The skin may be irritated and develop skin rashes. What to do:
Do not use soaps that are non-organic, scented, have additives
and contain phthalate. Read the label of the soaps. However
helpful phthalates are in improving textures, these chemicals
and its compound are known to cause allergies. For this reason,
labels must be checked whether they contain “diethyl
phthalate” on them. Examples of low irritant products are
Ivory, Dove, and Tide, as well as other organic brands.
Latex Allergy Facts
 For people with latex hypersensitivity, latest gloves are the most common
offending products. However, there are also condoms and medical equipment
that may contain latex. These products can trigger latex allergy as well. Once
latex allergy is triggered, symptoms will appear. These allergic reactions
include itchiness of the skin and eyes. Skin rashes or eczema may develop.
Other symptoms include cough, wheezing and shortness of breath. Mild
reactions of latex allergy are just skin rashes. The most severe allergic reaction
a person with latex allergy may experience is anaphylaxis. It can cause
difficulty of breathing, development of hives, and gastrointestinal problems.

 As part of treatment and to avoid allergic reactions, latex products must be
removed. Epinephrine and antihistamines can cure allergy symptoms. It is
very important to use a Medic Alert bracelet if you have latex allergy. You
must also bring an emergency epinephrine kit with you all the time.
 If you are diagnosed with latex allergy, you should avoid products with latex
    content.
Milk Allergy Symptoms Explained
 The only way to prevent allergic reactions for those who have
milk allergy is to avoid milk and products that contain milk.
These reactions include wheezing, vomiting, and hives. There
are a lot of unsuspecting products in the market that contain
milk. This makes avoidance of milk products difficult.
Sometimes, food intolerance is mistaken as food allergy. The
symptoms of milk intolerance include diarrhea, bloating,
constipation, flatulence, and abdominal cramps. Always be
mindful of the ingredients by checking food labels.

 On the other hand, it is also advisable to read food labels before
buying anything. Sometimes, manufacturers change the
ingredients and add trigger foods to the new recipe.
