While External Community Management is a quite established profession today, internal communities are evolving and likewise need to be managed just as their external counterparts. Since virtually every company benefits from a Social Intranet nowadays, there is tremendous growth potential for upcoming positions within this field. The importance of a community management programme will be elaborated in this session by showing the example of Bosch having achieved a successful implementation of their E2.0 platform Bosch Connect. During the presentation, Katharina Perschke and Barbara Koch are examining the value of community-based collaboration, elaborating the importance of community and engagement management throughout the whole community lifecycle, giving recommendations on the design of internal community management, as well as discussing key factors for the role and organization of internal communities.
