● The group is now officially a Salesforce User Group.
● The group is now a co-led group, with this group being led by Mark Jones and Luke Menzfeld.
● We are hoping to schedule at least two more events before the end of the year.
● We will continue to meet virtually until it is deemed safe to meet in person by Salesforce.
● There is also a new Women in Tech Group for Salesforce Users in the Region.

We are joined tonight by two guest speakers who will contribute as panellists in a featured topic
tonight which is Salesforce in the North East. In this session we will have four contributors
including our two guest speakers, as well as the Co-Leaders of the North East User Group.
We will be able to take questions, so if you have a question for any of our speakers, please type it

chat box during their presentation slot. If time allows, we will open up the floor to anyone who

• I have been using Salesforce since 2016.
• I started working for Oasis Community Housing in June 2017.
• I am the sole Salesforce Admin for our Salesforce Org which is built on a managed app.
• My background is in Office Administration and as a Print Technician.
• In my spare time, I will also be working towards a degree in Theology.

• I manage two orgs for Oasis Community Housing, our main org and an admin org.
• I have spoken at two Salesforce Conferences on Redeveloping Established Orgs.
• I have been a Trailhead Mentor since February 2020.

• I’m based in Walker, Newcastle at a Subsea Cable
Manufacturing Plant which is one of multiple global
facilities for TechnipFMC worldwide
• TechnipFMC employs 35,000 people across 6 business

• We have a 2 org, Lightning Salesforce setup for 900 users
and currently utilise Sales Cloud, Service Cloud & multiple
integrations to ERP systems and other platforms
• At it’s core Salesforce is utilised as a CRM platform for
Commercial Departments within the organisation
• We have a successful link/integration with Microsoft
PowerBI with provides our data with a voice through a
vast series of automated management reporting

Marketing Cloud (Inc. Social Studio) Will manage triggered, automated and blast sends for customers who live in Salesforce. Social
studio could manage social interactions across Facebook, and other social channels
Digital Engagement Digital Engagement is a multi-channel offering that works within Sales Cloud to help enquiries
be contacted and qualified through a channel of their choice (WhatsApp, Facebook etc.)
Configure Price Quote (CPQ) CPQ will manage the configuration of the Quote / Contract and all of its associated parts.
Promotions, Discounts, Margins and Billable parts
Salesforce Billing Billing takes the Contract from CPQ and generates the billing schedule associated with this
contract
Service Cloud Service cloud would manage the customer account, complaint, knowledge and general
customer service process
Community Cloud Communities will be the central place for Owners to manage their account, and view
important processes and updates. This could be extended across to management of
maintenance for FSL
