(Translation) 29th Congress of tourism experts
Varna, 3rd September (BTA) - the 29th Congress of the International Association
of Scientific Experts in Tourism (AIEST) was started today in Drouzhba resort.
This forum is held on the occasion of the Balkan Year of Tourism, bringing
together tourism experts from 19 countries in Europe, Africa, and America.
The Congress was opened by the President of the International Association, Prof.
Claude Kaspar.
The potential future opportunities for the development of Bulgarian tourism were
presented to the Congress participants. In addition to the Bulgarian
representatives' reports, several films were also shown to the audience, including a
tourism promotional documentary, an international co-production of the Balkan
countries.
Within 5 days, professionals and scientific experts in tourism will be discussing the
problems in education and qualification of tourism employees.
The guests will get acquainted with the tourist super- and infrastructure, the
resorts and the attractions of the Bulgarian Black Sea coastline.
