• Identify goals, topic and speaker that would be a draw
• Choose platform and technology
• Decide logistics: enrollment caps, registration process, grading, managing faculty
workload, funding model, etc.
• Decide on course support needed (volunteers, use of students)
• Determine marketing (to whom, when)
• Determine incentive system (certificate, badges, etc)
• Identify course design and structure
• Identify research needs (if any)
