1. USB controlled Relays and Digital Outputs
LucidControl Plug-and-Play USB IO modules are the unique data acquisition and control
solution for analog and digital signals with outstanding capabilities ready to turn a computer
into a modular data acquisition lab or a monitoring and control system.
The IO modules are able to acquire voltages, temperatures or resistances as well as digital
logic signals. Output modules can control power consumers like pumps, lamps or valves by
solid state relays, mechanical relays and generated voltages. Moreover, they can interface
with other control systems by analog and digital signals.
The LucidControl input output module processes 4 digital inputs or outputs. Different
threshold values make the modules suitable for many applications where 5V, 10V or 24V
voltage levels are required.
LucidControl output modules are available with open collector switches and solid state relays

Industrial standard housing for DIN rail mounting and reliable connectors are only two
reasons why the modules are ready for switch cabinets. The reasonable priced modules can
be used for factory floor automation applications as well as for smart home automation,
energy management, caravan, hobby or general logging and monitoring purposes.
All LucidControl USB IO modules are USB bus powered which means that the devices are
working standalone and do not require other accessories like power supplies or adapters.
Beside of Laptops and Desktop computers, analog input module USB IO modules are
portable and compatible with the most popular Raspberry Pi and Texas Instruments
Beaglebone Black computers.

2. The usage of the modules is straightforward, since the identical software tools can be used
for all devices while no additional drivers are necessary on most operating systems like
Microsoft Windows® or Linux. The installation of the platform independent modules works
out of the box and the devices are ready within minutes.
The command line tool is only one example allowing easiest access to all module functions
without a single line of programming. For more complex high level programs, comprehensive
application interfaces (API) are provided for Java and Python.
All LucidControl USB IO modules are well documented in detail and a continuously growing
software package including tutorials is provided.
The modules are ready for web based and mobile applications and allow the switching of
consumers over the internet remotely also by using a smart phone. All functions can be
made accessible via the web browser running on a Raspberry Pi – versatile and secure. Get
