2. The goal of my paper is to spread word about the impact music therapy has on people, and this is the exact source I was looking for. Friends of Music Therapy is a website where people share their stories of how music has impacted their life and has helped them deal with their disability. I would like to use as many inspirational references as I can to help have a better emphasis on the paper.

The author lists adaptive and palliative as the two approaches for therapies; adaptive would be learning to deal with your disability while palliative is to help patients with other mental and physical disturbances. The source also lists an example of a patient who went through music therapy and had improved motor skills.

Elizabeth Scott ties in music and how it has certain vibrations that target the brain and causes different emotional states. She also goes into description of how not only can people with disabilities benefit from music therapy, but also people with common day problems like blood pressure, muscle tension, and immunity.
