My principal strength as an Engineering Researcher and Educator is my insatiable curiosity and appetite for lifelong learning which has given me a strong mix of cross-disciplinary skills and experience. My work in research, education, and industry has straddled the disciplines of Chemical Engineering and Software Engineering through the bridging discipline of Computational Science. From my PhD research I developed expertise in a wide range of molecular simulation methodologies and broader experience in computational science and high performance computing whilst deepening my knowledge of basic engineering sciences such as Thermodynamics, Statistical Mechanics, and Reaction Kinetics.
