Requirements/Common Errors
Requirements:
1 Title Slide
1 Objective Slide (What is the presentation going to be about. Must have 4 bullet points. The 4
content slides maybe??)
4 Content Slides (Each must have 4 bullet points [3 details, plus 1]. Each subtopic should be the
focus of one slide, plus an addition subtopic)
1 Conclusion Slide (Summarize/ interesting point from each content slide)
1 Reference Slide (Must be MLA format!)
Common Errors/ Helpful Hints:
Capitalization- Be consistent! Always the first word- then EVERY word or all IMPORTANT words.
Spacing- Keep spacing between words, bullets, and any other symbols consistent.
Picture- Make sure it is relevant to the topic on the slide.
Picture- Make sure it is not covering any words
Reference Slide- MUST be in MLA format (www.citationmachine.net)
Font- Keep it the same throughout presentation.
DO NOT WRITE IN COMPLETE SENTENCES!!!! You should not be
able to read your PowerPoint! It should just be there to guide the presentation….
