2. Below are the details about the interview conducted for
one customer by the Fuqua School for the Cross
Continent MBA program.
Candidate profile:
The interview was with the Regional Director for Duke
University in India. We met at his hotel’s lobby. It was
more of a conversation rather than an interview.

3. The basic idea was to just check the fit and assess my
motivation for the program. Questions, rather topics we
covered were:
• Tell me a little more about yourself?
(The interviewer was well aware of my background and
wanted me to talk about things not directly in my
resume)
• What is the main motivation behind going for an
MBA program?
• How was your time in United States?
(I had over a year of experience working in US)

4. • What were some challenges you faced during your
relocation?
• Have you worked in a cross-functional team? in a global
team? How did you manage conflicts?

5. The interview was really casual.. lots of jokes and laughter in the
middle. The most encouraging part was during the end when the
interviewer said that
“this interview was more about you selecting us rather than we
selecting you!”..
I was surprised and was smiling the whole way back! Just be your
self and confidently answer what the interviewer asks and you
should be home!
