What is a descriptive paragraph?What is a descriptive paragraph?• Describes how something or someone looks orfeels• Includes how the writer feels, i.e., the writer’sown impressions and thoughts.• ‘Creates a sensory image on the reader’s mind.That is, it paints a picture with words.• Descriptive paragraphs let the reader touch, taste,see, hear and smell what you are describing.• A successful description uses vivid vocabulary,including colorful adjectives and a lot ofdescriptive details.

Indeed Mr.Adam’s classroom is very interesting.
  13. 13. My Favorite CaféMy favorite place to relax is a small café down thestreet from where I live. This café is on a small side streetand as soon as you see it, you feel like going in. There arethree windows on either side of the door, and eachwindow has a small window box with brightly coloredflowers. There is a small wooden door that opens into thecafé, and as soon as you go in, you can see a dozen smalltables all around the room. I always like to sit at a smalltable in the corner near the front windows. From here, Ican look at the artwork on the walls and at the prettygreen plants hanging from the ceiling. With a strong cupof coffee and a good book, I feel very happy and relaxedin my favorite place.
