2. - In Analog load cells, analog to digital (A/D) conversion is
performed at the indicator.
- Digital load cells perform A/D conversion using an internal A/D
converter.
- Analog load cells and indicators from different manufacturers
can be freely combined.
- It is highly recommended that digital load cells and indicators
from the same company should be used.
- Digital load cells are pre-calibrated and hence no field
calibration is required unlike analog load cells.
3.
4. -Digital load cells are capable of transmitting the weight on the
load cell in digital form. In case of analog load cell, the signal
input is received by the indicator, where it is converted to digital
form.
-Corner correction is normally not required when the weigh
bridge is designed using digital load cell. However, in case of
exceptional structure deformity or mounting assembly defects,
the corner errors can be removed with minimal effort.
5. FOR EXAMPLE-
Advancement in technology has led to many
changes. We have seen how computers have evolved
over the passage of time. Initially there were analog computers.
They were used for a direct mechanical or electrical model of the
problem as a basis for computation. However, these were not
programmable and generally lacked the versatility and accuracy of
modern digital computers.
The present age modern computers are user friendly. They provide
you with added applications and are easy to use and monitor. They
have better storage facilities. They require less space.
These differences between analog and digital are mere
developments in IT sector. More the enhancement the less
complicated is the device.
