Describe a violation of human rights has ever happened in Indonesia……!
What you can do to reduce/eliminate the human rights violation…….?
Do the problem solving should bedone the these human rights violations……?

 The human rights violation in Indonesian has many description, but this case very important and intresting for
me which not contain “just the human rights violations from Indonesia has participated”. Which we know with
human trafficking especially the trafficking of women and children, that have never be done handled by the
              government.

TRAFFICKING OF WOMEN AND CHILDREN

Trafficking of women and children have long occurred in this earth and is an act contrary to the dignity and human
dignity. It is a violation of human rights people. In the past, trafficking of children and women were seen as forcible transfer
abroad for the purpose of prostitution. number of previous conventions on trafficking focusing only this aspect. But along with
the times, trade defined as displacement, especially women and children with or without the consent of the person concerned
within a country or overseas for all of exploitative labor, not only prostitution.

Trafficking is one of the problems that need treatment urges all components of the nation. It is necessary, because
closely related with the image of Indonesia in international eyes. Moreover, the data Department of Foreign Affairs of the
United States shows that Indonesia ranks third as a supplier of trafficking in women and the child. A challenge for Indonesia to
rescue the nation's children from adversity. It is recognized that the handling of trafficking is not easy, because cases of human
transmission overseas illegally to have occurred since many years without any change in improvement. As reported by the
Government of Malaysia, that the 4268 workers sex comes from Indonesia. Likewise, the border region countries Malaysia and
Singapore. The data suggest as many as 4300 women and children are employed as sex workers (Kompas, 10 May 2001) in the
region. Then at the end of 2004 appeared again the same case, even the numbers increased to 300.000.

The problem of trafficking in women and children are is a very complex issue that can not be separated from economic
factors, social, cultural, political and closely related with the process of industrialization and development. In certain countries,
trafficking of women and children even used as part of Labour policy of cheap labor is utilized to lower production costs that
tend to be exploited.

Trafficking is one pathway trafficking of persons that the average victim is under the poverty line, particularly women
and children. Moreover, until recently the position of women still marginalized, subordinated directly and indirectly will affect
the condition of women. Such a situation is a fine dining trafficking syndicates women and children who have organized to do
the recruiting. In fact, almost out of reach of the law, because the syndicate begins with the transaction between the supplier
debts with illegal labor victims who have babies or girls who are still virgins, so if the victim is unable to complete the
transaction agreed upon, then the collateral is a girl who still smells “kencur”.

Trafficking of women and children have a network of highly spacious. The practice of child trafficking are the most
dominant in the service sector prostitution, where most victims are girls. In Southeast Asia, in recent years a large number of
children from Myanmar, Cambodia, China, Laos, has been traded and forced working in prostitution in Thailand. Both boys and
women from poor rural areas, at the coaxing by the agent (Recruiters) and professional traders who promised them jobs
a good or decent (legitimate) economic conditions in Thailand are more good. The girls brought to Thailand from Myanmar
through various headings (the checkpoints) border. In Cambodia, they arrive through the Mekong River into various provinces
in northern Thailand and southwest.
The international community has long been concerned about This issue of child trafficking. The UN, for example,
through the conventions of 1949 regarding the elimination of trafficking and exploitation prostitution by another party, the
convention of 1979 on the elimination all forms of discrimination against women, and the 1989 convention about children's
rights. Various international organizations such as IOM, ILO, UNICEF, and UNESCO gives special attention to the problem child
trafficking, child labor which is usually located on the conditions exploitative work, commercial sexual.

From reports received by the Ministry of Women Empowerment associated with abuse, fraud, rape, and violence, in
there are approximately 1079 women migrant workers fleeing from Singapore or report to the Embassy, 235 problematic cases
from Saudi Arabia, 219 workers who were returned because it is not in accordance with the procedures and provisions
applicable, each of Kuwait, Kuala Lumpur, Brunei, Jordan, and Colombia.

One of the factors that encourage trafficking is a factor poverty is likely to be exploited by certain parties to business
interests, in which victims are bought and sold like goods not worth the gimmick. If viewed from the aspect of law, such
syndicates have been signed in areas criminal acts, their treatment orientation is business, without think that women and
children are creatures God needs to be protected and have self-esteem as a stakeholder rights and obligations as stipulated in
Law No. 1945. 39/1999 on Human Rights (Human Rights).

The government of Indonesia has given birth to the Act Child Protection No. 23 of 2002 and has ratified the Convention
Rights of the Child (Convention on the Rights on the Child) through Presidential Decree No. 36 1990 State Gazette Year 1990
Number 57. In this case the Provincial Government of North Sumatra a step further by making Regional Regulation (Regulation)
No. 6 Year 2004 on the Elimination of Trafficking (Trafficking) Women and The child....

Human trafficking for various purposes, has been going pretty old, from ancient days until the 21st century, the
kingdom of Java form the foundation for the development of trade in women with put them as merchandise to meet the man
of lust by showing the power and prosperity. this activity is developed into more organized in the Dutch colonial period and
Japan. Even now, in the nature of independence and in the era of globalization, these activities do not further recede even
more marak.

The purpose of trafficking in Indonesia is the inter-regional trade / island and interstate. Indonesia is an archipelagic
country that has thousands of islands and the various tribes, making it very facilitate the occurrence of trafficking in the
domestic sphere, from some provinces where cases of domestic trafficking occurred, tourist attractions which borders with
other countries, such as North Sumatra, Riau, West Kalimantan, North Sulawesi, Jakarta, Bali and East Java is
destination area.

 What the things can I do to reduce/eliminate the human rights violation especially in Indonesia.

As the first should I do is overcome the problem of poverty.
reducing poverty among the population with the actual potential wile can be developed, namely through the opening of the
strategic business areas and potentially where there are many poor people on the ground and as a resource not as a withy
suesuatu which should be on areas that could potentially get rid of it.

Then the problems of education.
education that I often see in the media is highlighting the bad side of education in Indonesia, though not a whole in terms of
poor education in Indonesia. overcome the problem of education is actually easier if the government increase the cooperation
program in education not only to organize cooperation in order to "exposed" by the media only. more to education to various
groups, whether it's old to young. not just the responsibility of government alone, we also participated as a home makes it a
smart rmah pre accommodate street children who are less fortunate to taste a paid education. because education is the
guarantee for a future life brighter.
address the issue of migration.
actual migration happens dikaenakan lack of employment and wage work mainly differs significantly between the outside and
inside the country. poverty again took a position in the immigration person to seek a decent life as he wants. development on
the land a job should be done without the need mengunggu GOI reports the results of the TKI or migrant workers who in the
end they are much enyumbang to the state than the state's obligation should be the welfare of its people.

the influence of family conditions.
Low education, limited opportunities, ignorance of the rights, limitations of information, poverty, and consumptive lifestyle is a
factor that weakens family resilience.

 Do the the problem solving should be done to these human rights violations….?

Of course, the problem solving for the human right violations should be done for the better future of human rights even the
fact that the human rights violation can’t be stoped, at least we also try to do something to mengcegah against violations of
human rights by entering into the realm of education. with us participate in the teaching of children who are less capable in
terms of cost in the non-governmental organization that has a very peting function of preventing violations of human rights
through free education.
