Startup Open is a global competition to identify and recognize
startup companies founded between GEW 2011 and GEW 2012.
The ‘GEW 50’ is being announced today. The overall winner will
be announced on the opening day of GEW and receive an all-
expenses-paid trip to Rio de Janeiro for the Global
Entrepreneurship Congress.
Startup Weekend / Global Startup Battle
On the two weekends surrounding GEW, more than 1,200
startup teams in 150 cities will frantically build a company from
scratch in 54 hours. Each city will crown a local winner that will
advance to the Global Startup Battle

Cleantech Open Global Ideas Competition
