Most of them prefer to express themselves by writing.
But they are still sociable people with most friends in real life.
About 50% of authors write for one fandom, others write for
from 2 to 5 fandoms that they are familiar with.
Despite liking a multiple of fandoms, respondents still mostly
write for a single one.
Each fandom has its own audience with slightly different
demographics.

7. With this study I got very insightful information and
answers for my research question. But some questions
didn’t give clear results and raised the new ones.
From all the collected data, I can say that respondents
write fanfiction mostly for fun and to express their
creativity.
Fanfiction writers form very welcoming community
and are eager to help each other.
8. Fanfiction can be used in high school to improve
student’s writing abilities (large per cent of writers are
high school age).
Writing fanfiction instead of essays can give students
more motivation, keep them engaged in class and even
make them think about publishing their own works or
start a writer’s career.
Fanfiction is an underrated method of improving
writing skills and becoming a professional author.
