• The Bija sound for Mooladhara is Laṃ.

12. How to balance mooladhara chakra
General advices
• Make new connections. (This chakra is fed by getting involved in life. If you
are not comfortable with the family you came from then create new
families of friends, animals, organizations, support groups, etc. to balance
this chakra and make it stronger. Look for evidence that your world is
secure)
• Establish healthy routines
• Drink lots of “FRESH” water, eat healthy foods that are as natural as
possible; eat, sleep, exercise, and work at regular times.
• Go to a park and walk barefoot through the grass;
• Hiking in the mountains, or just being around large rocks and stones is very
grounding. The mooladhara’s element is Earth.
• Sitting on the grass, under a tree is an ideal spot to sit and allow yourself
to absorb these earthly energies!

13. How to balance mooladhara chakra
General advices
• Avoid cold, dry food – crackers, popcorn, toast, chips, iced drinks, ice cream in a
big amount
• Avoid eccessive pungent, bitter, astringent tastes
• Try to wake up before sunrise
• Take a glass of warm water
• Put sesame oil massage then take shower or bath
• Try to take food in calm athmosphere without looking TV, computer or speaking
phone. Eat regularely.
• Don‘t remove breakfast from your day schedule, eats more morning time as at
evening time. Dinner is preferable 3-4 hours before sleep
• To balance and calm yourself try to itegrate yogic practice in your daily life
• Use ayurvedic or naturopathic herbs
