This document discusses rainwater harvesting technologies for slope and desert areas in Vietnam. It presents the purpose and methodology of studying rainwater harvesting, which is to provide a cheap and easy water source for mountainous communities using local materials. Traditional and current rainwater harvesting methods are described. The methodology section explains the design calculations and considerations for rainwater harvesting systems, including catchment area, water storage volumes, and pilot project details. The results showed efficient water collection and storage to irrigate crops, with economic and environmental benefits.
