2. USING THE PRESENT SIMPLE
* The present simple to talk about activities carried out regularly and talk about routines (daily, weekly, yearly, etc. Used
NOT USED to talk about activities happening in the moment of speaking.
* With he, she, it (third person singular) in the affirmative, is added-so-is the verb, according to the following rules.
Remember
* To form the third person singular (corresponding to he, she, it) of the present simple, usually added-s.
eat – eats
* A verbs that end in-ch,-sh,-s,-x, they are-is added. wash – washes
teach – teaches
* For the verbs do they go and add-es. do – does
go – goes
* A finished verbs in consonant +-y, they remove the add-y y-ies.
try – tries
* A finished verbs vowel +-y,-s is added. say – says
play – plays
