operation of complex crew management solutions including Vendor Management. The
WRS approach includes analysis and rationalisation of agency recruitment and company
operation charges, providing full visibility of your spend and performance. We ensure
ongoing security of supply and use of technology to drive transparent supply chain
management, consolidated invoicing, and management information reporting to improve  
compliance.
Account Director and account management team dedicated 100% to your operations:
The team will consist of recruitment, global mobility, health and safety, vendor  
management, payroll and legal experts, each with a clearly defined role.
Expertise: With industry experts and crew management specialists; we cover all elements
of a marine project from sourcing of crew to mobilisation to vessel location. We are able to
fill niche roles or recruit entire crew complements internationally. WRS is able to mitigate
your risks and service all workforce requirements including vendor management, to
protect against costly delays or breaches of compliance.
Experience: WRS have supported some of the largest marine projects globally for the
last 10 years, enabling us to gain valuable experience of managing
and supporting manpower needs of high value projects. Through
our crew management solution we can take on part or full
management roles on projects to streamline processes and
reduce the risk of noncompliance.

A typical Crew Management solution may include:
- Supply of qualified and medically fit Maritime Labour as per crew complement,
alongside development of Competence Assurance Programme and Personnel Training
Matrices to ensure all personnel have the required skills for execution of offshore
projects;
- Provision of travel logistics for all Marine personnel, including visas and permits, and
even medical and sickness insurance cover;
- Management of rosters, crew retention and satisfaction;
- Management of Employee Relations obligations in accordance with Client and all
applicable laws, rules and regulations in the countries of operations;
- Support interface with Unions to enable Project Workplace Agreements.

The Team
The WRS Crew Management team is a specialist team within the business which focuses
exclusively on Crew Management contracts. Each contract is given a dedicated single
point of contact who will work exclusively for that client.
Daniel Ward acts as Director of Marine Managed Services, with over 16 years’ experience
in marine industry recruitment.
WRS’ Crew Management team are experts in ensuring vessels are fully utilised by:
• Recognising and recruiting the appropriate calibre of seafarers
• Time Management; ensuring project timelines are met
• Efficient visa and permit processing
• Managing global mobilisation from home location to vessel
• Assessing training needs / certifications and compentency of crew members
• Design and implementation of Crewing strategies.
Global Mobility
WRS’ Global Mobility team have a wealth of experience in travel and contractor care. We
areabletomanageallaspectsofdeployment,care,repatriationandfurtherredeployment.
The services covered under Global Mobility are as follows:
• Pre-employment checks
• Local Compliance
• Immigration, Visas and Permits
• Medical and Travel Insurances
• Travel and Accommodation booking (including utilisation of Marine fares)
• Safety and Security services
• Contractor Care including 24 hour emergency service and traveller tracking
• Finance and Payroll.

Case Study
Project
In July 2015, WRS was awarded the provision of a managed
services contract for a leading Marine Oil and Gas Operator.
WRS is engaged as a ‘Managed Services Provider’ following a
comprehensive and protracted tender process to manage two
DP3 Construction vessels and one DP2 MPSV working in the
offshore Oil & Gas Industry in Brazil, Mexico and Nigeria. WRS
was tasked withproviding all contract manpower requirements
and associated mobilisation and HR services for the life of the
project, ensuring low attrition, efficient recruitment processes
and smooth on-boarding, as well as enhancing the company’s
policies and procedures.
Challenge
This required sourcing, deploying and mobilising hundreds of
multinational contractors around the world. Once awarded
the contract, WRS appointed a dedicated Account Director and
support team to work closely with the Client’s leadership team,
ensuring strict compliance with legal, fiscal and immigration
legislation for all contractors. Recruitment and mobilisation
began in August 2015 for all three vessels.
Outcome and Cost Savings
By the first sail away in August 2015, WRS had on-boarded 270
contractors. WRS have maintained an average “time to hire”
of 10 days and an unprecedented conversion rate of three
CVs per start. All three vessels have achieved 100% personnel
utilisation without any downtime to our
client, including an attrition rate of
under 2%. The Client is predicting
considerable cost savings on the
model in the first year, due to
WRS’ outsourced managed
service model including all
travel bookings through
our dedicated Travel team
who are specialists in the
utilisation of Marine air fares.
WRS is ISO 9001 certified for our Quality Management system.
Awards and Certifications
We are certified for a nationally (UK) recognised Health & Safety
certificate from an SSIP Member Scheme.
WRS is proud to be an audited member for compliance with
paragraph 5 of A1.4 of the Maritime Labour Convention 2006.
We have been selected as one of the Queen’s finest business in
2015 for our Enterprise in International Trade. This is off the back
of increasing global sales over the past 6 years.
Following a rigorous independent and anonymous employee
survey from Best Companies, we were awarded the maximum 3

Account Director and account management team dedicated 100% to your operations: The team will consist of recruitment, global mobility, health and safety, vendor management, payroll and legal experts, each with a clearly defined role. Expertise: With industry experts and crew management specialists; we cover all elements of a marine project from sourcing of crew to mobilisation to vessel location. We are able to fill niche roles or recruit entire crew complements internationally.   • 8. The Team The WRS Crew Management team is a specialist team within the business which focuses exclusively on Crew Management contracts. Each contract is given a dedicated single point of contact who will work exclusively for that client. Daniel Ward acts as Director of Marine Managed Services, with over 16 years’ experience in marine industry recruitment. WRS’ Crew Management team are experts in ensuring vessels are fully utilised by: • Recognising and recruiting the appropriate calibre of seafarers • Time Management; ensuring project timelines are met • Efficient visa and permit processing • Managing global mobilisation from home location to vessel • Assessing training needs / certifications and compentency of crew members • Design and implementation of Crewing strategies. Global Mobility WRS’ Global Mobility team have a wealth of experience in travel and contractor care. We areabletomanageallaspectsofdeployment,care,repatriationandfurtherredeployment.   • 9. Case Study Project In July 2015, WRS was awarded the provision of a managed services contract for a leading Marine Oil and Gas Operator. WRS is engaged as a ‘Managed Services Provider’ following a comprehensive and protracted tender process to manage two DP3 Construction vessels and one DP2 MPSV working in the offshore Oil & Gas Industry in Brazil, Mexico and Nigeria. WRS was tasked withproviding all contract manpower requirements and associated mobilisation and HR services for the life of the project, ensuring low attrition, efficient recruitment processes and smooth on-boarding, as well as enhancing the company’s policies and procedures. Challenge This required sourcing, deploying and mobilising hundreds of multinational contractors around the world. Once awarded the contract, WRS appointed a dedicated Account Director and support team to work closely with the Client’s leadership team, ensuring strict compliance with legal, fiscal and immigration legislation for all contractors. Recruitment and mobilisation began in August 2015 for all three vessels. Outcome and Cost Savings By the first sail away in August 2015, WRS had on-boarded 270 contractors. WRS have maintained an average “time to hire” of 10 days and an unprecedented conversion rate of three CVs per start. All three vessels have achieved 100% personnel utilisation without any downtime to our client, including an attrition rate of under 2%. The Client is predicting considerable cost savings on the model in the first year, due to WRS’ outsourced managed service model including all travel bookings through our dedicated Travel team who are specialists in the utilisation of Marine air fares.
