Roles and competence requirements
The following section describes the role and competences needed for delivering the architecture for the
solution.
The work consists of creating and documenting the global License design for:
KMS licensing
RDS licensing
Citrix Licensing
Management Platform service based on Windows and Linux Hosted Shared Desktops
leveraging Citrix XenDesktop and all infrastructures that goes with it.

Skill sets
Education:
Microsoft Infrastructure certified (MCP, MCSA, MCSE) or work experience related to the certification
Citrix Certified Expert – Virtualization certification, or work experience related to the certification
Professional skill requirements:
5+ years of proven experience with Citrix Virtualization Services

Good understanding and proven experience with complex designs of the following products;
Citrix XenDesktop
Citrix XenApp
Citrix Machine Creation Services
Citrix StoreFront
Citrix Access Gateway
Citrix Receiver
Citrix Profile Manager
3rd party profile & User Data solutions.
Active Directory
PKI – certificate based authentication
Experience from design and implementation of User Profile management.
Experience from design and implementation of firewall rules
Experience from large, complex IT environments
Experience with TCP/IP, Global Server Load Balancing, Content Switching, load balancing
and connectivity methodologies
Knowledgeable within network security and integration with internal XenApp and
XenDesktop based services in terms of SmartAccess and NetScaler Gateway
Personal skills
Ability to work well in teams
Good at managing stress and work under pressure
Strong drive in initiating, executing and completing given work tasks
Able to exercise authority and able to delegate
Strong social skills (e.g. communicative and energizing)
