Thrombosis
Definition:-
Thrombosis occurs when an imbalance in
blood coagulation system causes a blood
clot or thrombus to form.when athrombus
blooks the flow of blood through avein or
artery.it poses aserious health risk
including venous thrombosis(VTE) and
deep vein thrombosis(DVT) .the thrombus
can also detach from blood vassels wall to
form life threating pulmonary
embolism(PE) when it lodges in the lung.

Haemostasis
The normal response that prevents
significant blood loss following vascular
injury called Haemostasis.
Blood clot formation or haemostsis
depends on intricate series of events
involving platelets,other cells and
activation of specific blood protiens known
as coagulantion factors.
