LeWeb: le 10 persone più interessanti
Paris, 2013
GUY KAWASAKI
‣ Semplicemente, lui è storia della
tecnologia: si è fatta conoscere al
grande pubblico per il suo lavoro in
Apple e successivamente come
esperto di tecnologia.
‣ Nel genere, preferisco lui a uno
Scoble: la sua curiosità è a 360°,
mai banale, non sempre
condivisibile ma sempre piena di
passione.
TRAVIS KALANICK
‣ E’ il boss di Uber: personaggio
estremamente riservato.
‣ LeWeb sarà l’occasione per sentirlo
parlare e scoprire, si spera,
qualcosa in più di Uber, una di
quelle compagnie di cui vorrei
sapere proprio tutto, dagli accordi
con gli NCC alle beghe con le lobby
e il mondo della politica, a come
sarà possibile studiare soluzioni
data-driven in altri settori.
FERRAN ADRIÀ
‣ E’ forse il cuoco star per eccellenza
e con una storia incredibile da
raccontare sul suo percorso, dagli
studi di economia interrotti
all’attività di lavapiatti fino alla
sperimentazioni che lo hanno reso
così celebre e più simile a un
alchimista.
‣ LeWeb ha questa capacità di
declinare temi popolari in chiave
tecnologici.
NICK D’ALOISIO
‣ A 15 anni riceve finanziamenti da
Murdoch e Kutcher, a 18 vende la
propria creatura a Yahoo! per
qualche decina di milioni di dollari.
‣ Figlio di papà o talento del coding, è
un personaggio con luci e ombre
che vale la pena scoprire,
perlomeno per avere un quadro
definitivo sulla sua figura.
RAMON DE LEON
‣ Immaginate una persona talmente
brava che potrebbe vendere pizza
agli italiani.
‣ Ramon è il boss di Domino’s pizza
sui Social Media: un’esplosione di
carisma, passione belle idee.
‣ Il suo intervento è il primo del II
giorno: non c’è modo migliore per
svegliarsi.
MARIE-LAURE SAUTY DE CHALON
‣ La mente dietro quel colosso che è
aufeminin, la piattaforma dedicata al
mondo delle donne tra le più
importanti in Europa.
‣ La sua carriera è partita dai giornali
tradizionali, è passata per
un’agenzia ed è approdata sul Web
nel 2010.
‣ I temi saranno dunque la diversità di
genere, il passaggio da old a new
media, il management al femminile,
all’interno di una società
tecnologica.
HUGO BARRA
‣ Xiaomi, la società che rappresenta,
è per molti la prossima Apple con
modelli di telefonini all’avanguardia,
prezzi concorrenziali e strategie di
vendita molto interessanti.
‣ Sono molto curioso di saperne di
più perché presto ne sentiremo
parlare fortemente anche da noi.
MARCO TEMPEST
‣ Marco è un illusionista
contemporaneo in grado di unire le
possibilità che la tecnologia offre a
un’immaginazione e a una
narrazione più uniche che rare.
‣ L’ho già visto 3 volte: non dovesse
portare uno spettacolo nuovo,
potrebbe comunque essere
piacevole rivedere una delle sue
vecchie performance. Si tratta di
magia: quella che lascia a bocca
aperta, la meraviglia.
I PARTECIPANTI DELLA STARTUP COMPETITION
‣ LeWeb dà la possibilità di incrociare
persone con una forte passione e un
sogno, a volte già ben avviato.
‣ Dalla competition sono emerse
belle realtà, soprattutto italiane
come Beintoo (la foto a fianco!),
Intoino e wiMan.
‣ Purtroppo quest’anno la selezione
non mi sembra all’altezza, non ci
sono italiani ma le sorprese non
mancheranno, spero.

ALISON COPUS
‣ Di TripAdvisor ho un giudizio un po’
particolare ma il valore euristico è
per me fondamentale. Non potrei
vivere senza: è forse la piattaforma
che uso di più e che, in generale, si
presta ad essere tra gli attori
principali del turismo online.
‣ Poter sentire la responsabile
marketing B2B dovrebbe farne
capire le strategie e cogliere aspetti
particolari, luci e ombre di una
organizzazione non banale.
