Resource Center Qasimabad, Karachi is working under
Directorate Teacher Training Institutes (TTIs) Sindh,
Education and Literacy Department Govt. of Sindh.
DETRC Karachi is working for quality education in 6
Distracts of Karachi division.
The key role of this center is to prepare resources and
conduct workshops, trainings ,seminars, for
elementary, secondary teachers and managers.

7. Introduction
Govt. Divisional Educational Technology Resource Center, Karachi is working
under Directorate Teacher Training Institutes Sindh, Education and Literacy
Department Govt. of Sindh is working for quality education in 6 Distracts of
Karachi division. The main objective of this center is to prepare resources
and conduct workshops, seminars for elementary, secondary teachers and
managers.
Divisional Educational Technology Resource Centre (DETRC) is going to
conduct a series of workshops in campus schools of Karachi division.
The main purpose of this program is to build the capacity/ professional
development of the elementary and secondary teachers in pedagogy and
content area and to provide a door step /ON SPOT workshops.

8. DETRC Virtual learning program
DETRC Karachi initiated face to face
teaching learning program, in which DETRC
Experts faculty even volunteers experts
teaching via video (face to face) in different
schools of country .
DETRC Karachi is developing e-resources for learners
and teachers.
In this connection DETRC Karachi working on e –
lessons of text book, motivational and informational e-
material.

9. DETRC Karachi Volunteers
Millions of marginalized in Pakistan – the poor and
the uneducated, the physically and mentally
challenged, widows and orphans and others – are
deprived of even basic necessities.
Fortunately a number of institutions are working
tirelessly for their uplift,
DETRC Karachi also contributing in this regard
the 1st priority is to improve setup of educational
system (educational system is broad term so
these volunteers will serve every area of the
system like physical, academic and managerial) .
The volunteers of DETRC will serve in this area .

10. DETRC Karachi researchers society
The purpose of this program is to develop new knowledge about
the teaching-learning situation to improve educational practice.
In this connection Training need analysis TNA will be
conducted.
All PhD students, researchers and technical staff whose
Principal Investigator can be is part /member of the Society.
Society will conduct workshop seminars about different steps of
research.
Society will help to new researchers in publishing and writing
research stuff.
Society will organized seminars and conferences.
