Dr. Rhee received his undergraduate and graduate education at Yonsei University in South Korea. His Ph.D. studies involved research in molecular biology and bacterial cell engineering. During his postdoctoral research at The Scripps Research Institute, Dr. Rhee had worked on a project funded by Pfizer, Inc. Dr. Rhee’s research focuses on the protein half of this relationship, rather than on the small molecule component. All proteins are subject to evolution, including receptors and enzymes.
