M. Tiamson was born in Angono, Rizal. He finished his Bachelor of Arts degree in Philippine Studies at the University of the Philippines Diliman on 1993. He was a former head of the Filipino Department of Miriam College and is presently a lecturer of History and Filipino at the Entrepreneurs School of Asia. Mr. Tiamson served as provincial editor of the Southern Tagalog Herald and he also was editor of the books Angono Rizal Books 6-10, Dangal ng Angono, and Sanaysay: Pananaliksik sa Wika at Panitikan.
